The market is expected to surpass $4 billion in revenue by the mid-2020s. This growth is driven by the expanding base of gamers, both casual and hardcore, and the increasing adoption of digital entertainment. Mobile gaming constitutes a significant portion of the market, with games like "PUBG Mobile" and "Free Fire," leading the charge.

Did you play Arcade games?

The nostalgia of arcade gaming brings back memories of simpler, magical times when a visit to the local arcade was an adventure. Arcades were filled with the glow of neon lights and the hum of classic 8-bit music, each game calling out to you with unique sounds and bright colors. You’d walk in with a pocket full of quarters, ready to take on the challenge and see how long you could last on just one play.
These games were designed to test you—they weren’t easy, and that was part of the fun. Every time you advanced, it felt like a real accomplishment, like you had earned it through practice and persistence. Standing at the machine, there was an unspoken bond between everyone there, strangers and friends alike. People would watch each other play, offering cheers and tips, or lining up behind you with their quarters ready to claim the next round.
Arcades were a place where friendships started and rivalries grew. The simplicity of the controls made it so anyone could jump in and play, but the challenge of getting better kept people coming back. You could see someone become a local legend by achieving a high score, inspiring everyone around them.
For many, arcade gaming is a reminder of a time when gaming was personal, social, and local—when you played alongside friends, shared the thrill of victory, and didn’t need anything more than a few quarters and a free afternoon.
